The 54th Ruddy Family Reunion
July 4, 1999 The 54th Annual Ruddy Reunion was held in Waddington, NY. A total of 75 people attended the tradtional reunion hosted by Michelle (Ruddy) Conant and Patrick Ruddy. As usual there was lots of tasty food, and everyone got caught up from the past year. We had a very hot day for the North Country. The kids spent most of the day in the water which washed off the nice face painting Julia (Ruddy) Rose had done. We enjoyed our "intros" so much last year we again had everyone introduce themselves because some of the "married-ins" have know idea who belongs to who. Lots of babies were attending their first Ruddy Reunion -- Sydney Greene (5.2.2.2), Shane Rose (7.4.2.1), and Zeb Zagrobelny (7.1.6.2) made up the baby brigade this year. Margie Zagrobelny had photos of the twins -- grandchildren #14 & #15 for her and Frank. Bob & Kelly (LaDuke) Connell won the prize for the furthest travelled -- all the way from Germany!! Kelly took lots of videos to bring back to Germany to show cousin/sister-in-law Meredith. Jason Ruddy appears to be falling off the elegible bachelor list since he brought his fiance, Lynette. Next year's reunion will be hosted by the LaDuke clan.
